REVIEW!! ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner

This stuff right here is great! I use this each time I deep condition my hair and it doesn’t disappoint. This product left my coils defined and soft which is always a great thing. It also leaves your hair with a fresh, citrus scent. Want to know how I used this product, well look no further. Here’s how I used it…

  1. I shampoo’d my hair as normal with any regular shampoo
  2. I generously applied the replenishing conditioner making sure to coat each strand with product
  3. I put on multiple plastic caps and let the conditioner sit on my hair for about an hour
  4. I rinsed out all of the product

Simple, right?! My hair was moisturized and full of definition. This product will definitely become a staple of mine. (I went to Sally’s and bought the salon size bottle for only about $11)

Now this is a protein conditioner so if you’re protein sensitive, this may or may not be the product for you. As for me, I’m still trying to find products that work the best for me and while I feel that I have low porosity hair (which tends to be protein sensitive) this product worked well. Anyway, you can’t knock it until you try it.

Pounds Be Gone!!!!!!!*

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE food. I ADORE food. I just can’t get enough! With my body type, however, my admiration for food tends to show on my body easily if I don’t watch myself. Luckily, because of my height (5’7) I tend to look 10 pounds lighter than what I really am; however, the number on the scale doesn’t lie. So, I had to do something about it.

Long story short, in the beginning of my freshman year I was unhappy with my body and wanted to do something about it immediately. So, I started going to the gym at least three days a week but I was still eating a lot of bad foods. While I lost inches on my waist, the number on the scale was still too high for my liking so I knew that I wasn’t doing something right.

When I came back from winter break, it was way to cold and I most certainly was not walking to the gym so I started counting calories and watching portion sizes. Best thing ever! Let’s just say that I lost 20 pounds in 5 months.

See, you don’t have to starve yourself because trust me, I was still eating a lot of junk and enjoying myself. You have to do things in moderation. Small portion sizes and exercise is the key. Also, you don’t have to workout for 2 hours because 20 minutes a day will suffice…just as long as you do something.

I am much happier with myself and my confidence has increased as well! Honestly, if I can do it…anybody can because again I LOVE food. I know that sometimes you may eat the WHOLE box of ice cream and that’s okay…hey we’re human. Just don’t let that discourage you! Remember to keep on keeping on and you will get the results you want. I believe in you!

e.l.f. Studio Conditioning Lip Balm: Review!!!!!

About two months ago I was surfing the web when I stumbled across e.l.f.’s 50% off sale…Yes! I knew I had to take up this offer and trust me I did. One of the things that I bought was e.l.f.’s Studio Conditioning Lip Balm. These bad boys were originally $3 but with the sale I got them for only $1.50 a pop. Now I had been looking at lip conditioners for a long time (mainly because I tried on MAC’s lip conditioner a while back but was too cheap to buy it) so I knew that I had to get this.

After looking at the variety of shades, I decided to get the color Mellow Melon…

At first I was skeptical because I wasn’t sure if this pink color would look right on my dark skin (MAC NW45) but when I put it on I fell in love! This color is perfect! It really enhanced the pinkish-beige hue of my lips. Also, it made my lips very soft!!!!

lip 3

I really recommend this product! It conditions the lips while adding the perfect amount of color. I had to reapply this product every hour or so but I usually do that with every lip product I have so that was no issue.

Give this product a try!!!!
