Pounds Be Gone!!!!!!!*

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE food. I ADORE food. I just can’t get enough! With my body type, however, my admiration for food tends to show on my body easily if I don’t watch myself. Luckily, because of my height (5’7) I tend to look 10 pounds lighter than what I really am; however, the number on the scale doesn’t lie. So, I had to do something about it.

 

Long story short, in the beginning of my freshman year I was unhappy with my body and wanted to do something about it immediately. So, I started going to the gym at least three days a week but I was still eating a lot of bad foods. While I lost inches on my waist, the number on the scale was still too high for my liking so I knew that I wasn’t doing something right.

 

When I came back from winter break, it was way to cold and I most certainly was not walking to the gym so I started counting calories and watching portion sizes. Best thing ever! Let’s just say that I lost 20 pounds in 5 months.

 

See, you don’t have to starve yourself because trust me, I was still eating a lot of junk and enjoying myself. You have to do things in moderation. Small portion sizes and exercise is the key. Also, you don’t have to workout for 2 hours because 20 minutes a day will suffice…just as long as you do something.

 

I am much happier with myself and my confidence has increased as well! Honestly, if I can do it…anybody can because again I LOVE food. I know that sometimes you may eat the WHOLE box of ice cream and that’s okay…hey we’re human. Just don’t let that discourage you! Remember to keep on keeping on and you will get the results you want. I believe in you!
